Where to Wednesday: First Day of School!

The older Chirping Kids headed off to their first day of preschool this week!  Both kids left their moms with smiles into the classroom and greeted their moms with big hugs and kisses with news of a great day!

Part of me is SO excited to see my little boy so excited about heading to school, while there is a little piece of me that wants me to keep him home forever.  I'm so excited for him to learn new things, meet new friends, and learn a little bit about life without Mommy around. I just love the innocence, sweetness, and passion for life at this age-it really is an amazing thing to watch.  But I don't want him to get hardened by mean actions and hurtful words that will occur as he starts to embark on more adventures on his own.  Does anyone else understand what I mean????

And we have to tell you more about the awesome "First Day of Preschool" sign!  Isn't it the cutest things ever?!?!  Mine is still adorning our entry table to celebrate our back to school week around here!  The signs were created by Etsy shop, Magic by Marcy.  The shop features some SUPER creative birthday party invitations and party packs, birth announcements, and iron-on designs.  Go check out all of the wonderful creations here or follow Magic by Marcy on Facebook here
