The Chirping Moms: No Bake Thanksgiving Cookies

November 6, 2012

No Bake Thanksgiving Cookies

I wanted to make some cookies for our neighbors & Maggie is really into baking lately. We came up with two fun Thanksgiving cookies. I saw some ideas on Pinterest & modified to make our own creations. These are "no bake" because I bought a giant pack of fudge cookies from grocery store so Maggie could decorate with icing & sprinkles (we do this a lot). You could also make your favorite cookie to use.
Turkey Cookie
Ingredients
Cookie
Chocolate Wafers
Mini chocolate chips
Candy corn
Icing
Spread icing on what would be the front of the cookie & arrange candy corn. Turn the cookie over & using the icing as glue make the turkey's face.
Pilgrim Hat Cookie
Ingredients:
Cookie
Icing
Reeses Peanut Butter Cup
Decorating icing gel
Use Icing to "glue" the Reeses Peanut Butter Cup to the back side of the cookie. Use decorating gel to make the hat's design.
