Two Christmas Projects for Little Ones

For more holiday inspiration,  please follow our Pinterest boards for our latest pins, including all our favorite holiday ideas!

I was trying to wait until Thanksgiving, but we broke out the Christmas craft supplies yesterday. Here are two Christmas projects Maggie really enjoyed doing.

Reindeer Footprints
Maggie thought it was hysterical that her & Alex's footprints turned into reindeer.
I love it because it's a fun addition to our Christmas decor & something I will save forever.
Last year I made these with Maggie's feet on cardstock, cut them out into ovals & used them as gift tags. Once I decide on this year's "print" I'll post some more gift tag ideas.
Foam Board Christmas Tree
This activity kept Maggie busy for a long time. I bought an Elmer's Foam Board tree shape at the craft store. You could also easily cut out a tree shape from poster board, construction paper etc. The thing I like about the foam board is that it's very sturdy.
Then, I bought a pack of Christmas light & ornament stickers. Last, we glued on on multi colored pompoms. It turned out really cute & Maggie carries it around & places "her tree" throughout the house.

  7. My favorite are the reindeer footprints. What a fun idea! They'd make great keepsakes to see how much your child's feet grow each year.
