Where to Wednesday: The Berenstain Bears Live!
A few weeks ago, Julie & I ventured into New York City with our families. All eight of us boarded a Sunday morning train into the city. We were all going to see The Berenstain Bears Live! Julie's boys were so excited to be on the train & Maggie kept asking "Are we almost to the Bears?"!
After a train & subway ride in, we were surprising early & let the kids get a quick treat at Starbucks.
We walked over the theater & the kids were excited before the show even began; looking at the adorable scenery set up on stage.
The show takes place at MMAC which is at 248 W. 60th Street.
It's the perfect size theater for little ones. My girls have been to the Big Apple Circus but never to a show in a theater. I was a little nervous, especially with wild little Alex, but they were enthralled the minute the music started. It's only 55 minutes long, with no intermission.

We brought 4 kids 4 & under & not one of them made a peep the whole show. I'd say they really liked it! The show is "Family Matters the Musical". If you grew up reading the Berenstain Bears, like I did, you'll notice it highlights parts of a few different stories.
The music was wonderful. Maggie is still singing the songs & keeps asking "Please can we go back to the Bear Show?"
After the show, the kids had a chance to meet The Berenstain Bears. Moma Bear was painting "bear noses" on children as they came out of the show & my two little cubs were eager to get theirs!
Both of our families were entertained & we had a great day together in the city. If you have a chance, I highly recommend taking your kids to The Berenstain Bears Live. The show plays every weekend (check their calendar for details). Also, you can follow along with The Berenstain Bears Live on Facebook for great pictures & updates.

We were not compensated for this post, however we did receive tickets to the show. As always, all opinions are our own.
This is so sweet. I love that you included your train and I can't take that last photo of your littlest bear! xx - Monica
